Level Two First Aid for Mental Health Course

Our goal for this course is to provide candidates with the ability to create a positive mental health culture in their workplace or home, through a greater understanding of mental health conditions and how to address them. Delegates will receive training in how to recognise a range of mental health conditions, information regarding the effects of drugs and alcohol on mental health, and knowledge of how to implement a First Aid for Mental Health Action plan.

With a minimum duration of six hours in the classroom, this course is typically completed in one day. However, we can provide multiple sessions across a period of three weeks if that better suits your requirements – each session must be a minimum of two hours long.

This course is assessed through practical demonstration and a written assessment paper – upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for three years.
