Confident Babysitting Course

Appropriate for teenagers aged 13 and above, this course is designed to teach young people the responsibilities of babysitting and first aid skills. The course aims to help students improve their confidence when looking after younger children, by giving them knowledge, practical skills and a chance to explore relevant issues in a safe environment. As well as a comprehensive look at First Aid, students will explore topics such as parental expectations, child safety, challenging behaviour, and how to keep themselves safe while babysitting.

This one-day course is assessed by oral questions and practical assessments, and upon completing the course, students will receive A First Aid Basic Life Support certificate and a certificate of attendance.
