Level One Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health Course
With 1 in 4 people in the UK experiencing a mental health condition every year, it is more important than ever to make an effort to reduce the stigma and increase support for people suffering from poor mental health. This level one course will provide candidates with the knowledge and confidence to recognise poor mental health, and the ability to open a supportive conversation and signpost a person to appropriate medical help.
With a minimum duration of four hours in the classroom, this course is typically completed in one day. However, we can provide two two-hour sessions over a fortnight, if that is better suited to your needs.
This course is assessed through a written assessment paper – upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for three years.
