Level Three Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Ideal for those with a responsibility for the care of children or babies, this course provides candidates with the knowledge and skills to administer First Aid to children in an emergency situation. Regulated by OFQUAL, the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course is delivered in accordance with the protocols of the Resuscitation Council and satisfies the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

With a minimum duration of six hours in the classroom, this course is typically held over a day. We are able to provide flexibility with this, as long as the sessions are over two hours long, and the full course is delivered within a four-week period. Evening and weekend sessions are available.

This course is assessed through oral questioning, a written assessment, and practical demonstrations, and upon completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate valid for three years. It is advised that candidates undertake an annual refresher course.

In order to regain your Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification after three years, you will have to complete the full course again.
